Challenge

The Customer commissioned Intellifer to streamline document management and business processes through introducing the approval workflow to quality and marketing department. Several emails were usually exchanged between the approver and the employees. In a scenario where multiple approvers are involved, keeping in track of the request status is tedious and complex because email exchanges were adhoc. Employees also need to send several follow reminders to the approver. Added to this, human intervention also slows down the approval process. Solution

The Intellifer team, in collaboration with the client, analysed and developed a new procedure to successfully streamline the operations of the Quality and Marketing Departments for the approval process. The approval software assisted the client in keeping track of documents, determining who is responsible, addressing pending approvals before they delayed a project, and gaining complete visibility on approval choices. With our innovative creative approval software, the correct people will be marked at the right time.

Impact

The Customer received two processes that expedited document-induced business procedures. Knowing the number of approval rounds allowed the Customer to assess and optimize the approval process. Item duplication facilitated the approval of modest modifications to previously authorized papers. Reminders aided in increasing the accountability of the Customer's personnel in terms of document management.
